The village is located within one Trunyan ancient volcanic crater,
Mount Batur which is ancient. Mount Batur erupted early once a few
thousand years ago. As a result of the eruption that formed a huge
crater with a length of 9 km and a width of ± 5 km. Crater is now a very
beautiful lake sebuali, named Lake Batur. West of the crater is then
grown children volcano (volcano new) 1717-meter-high mountain is called
Mount Batur. Trunyan village as one of the “old village” in Bali is
located on the east side of Lake Batur, the most of a sloping crater
